David J. LaBarre, M.A., M.S.
Founder and Chief Executive Officer
David’s philanthropic commitment spans over three decades, during which he has dedicated his passion and expertise to over twenty impactful nonprofit organizations. His enriching journey includes transformative roles at prestigious institutions such as the American Medical Association, the Professional Convention Management Association, Habitat for Humanity, the Catholic Cemetery Conference, and various other organizations focused on children, education, and veterans.
During his multifaceted career, David has assumed pivotal leadership roles on multiple Boards, where his strategic acumen has played a key role in enhancing the vision and financial resilience of numerous organizations. Simultaneously, he has been instrumental in fostering membership growth and elevating community awareness for the causes he champions.
LaBarre has a passion for learning with an undergraduate degree in Business Administration and Political Science, a Master’s degree in Nonprofit Administration from the University of Notre Dame Mendoza College of Business, and a Master’s degree in Organizational Leadership from Lewis University College of Business.

Over the years, LaBarre has been recognized with several awards, including the Alaska Business Monthly’s Corporate 100 Top Citizens of Industry; the MSA Excellence Award for Top Graduate Student from the University of Notre Dame, Medoza College of Business; the inaugural Partnering with the Community Award for Civic Participation from PricewaterhouseCoopers; and an honored participant runner in the 1984 Olympic Torch Relay for the XXIII Olympiad Los Angeles. Currently, Dave has been appointed to the Notre Dame Senior Alumni board for the Illinois region.
David’s eclectic career stands as a testament to his unwavering dedication to making a positive impact through strategic leadership, financial stewardship, and community engagement within the nonprofit sector.

William Carnegie
President
William Carnegie brings more than five decades of leadership experience to Nonprofit Resource Partners. His career began with 20 years of service in the U.S. Coast Guard, where he specialized in finance and logistics. After completing his military service, Bill applied that expertise to the nonprofit sector by founding the Food Bank of Northern Indiana. He went on to lead several food banks and a variety of mission-driven organizations over the next 30 years, including a national veterans service organization and several Big Brothers Big Sisters affiliates.
Throughout his career, Bill has served on numerous local, regional, and national boards of directors. He currently serves as National Board Chair for The Society for Nonprofits. In 2011, he was selected to chair the victim compensation board for families and survivors of the 2011 Tucson shooting. In 2012, Feeding America recognized Bill as National CEO of the Year.
A servant leader with a deep commitment to strengthening small nonprofit organizations, Bill has also taught nonprofit management courses through Arizona State University, and been a guest lecturer in ethics at the University of Arizona.
Bill earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing from Hawaii Pacific University and a Master of Science in Nonprofit Management from University of Notre Dame.

Cindi Thiede, Ph.D
Chief Impact OfficerDr. Cynthia (Cindi) Thiede is a nonprofit and higher‑education executive known for pioneering innovative programs, securing multimillion‑dollar grants, leading large‑scale program portfolios, driving organizational transformation across complex environments and linking program outcomes to funding and growth strategies. With more than 30 years of experience across universities, community colleges, and national nonprofits, she is a recognized architect of new programs having launched over 100 programs and built high‑impact, cross-sector partnerships that strengthen communities, expand access to learning, and accelerate institutional growth.
Dr. Thiede holds a Ph.D. in Continuing and Vocational Education/Education Administration from the University of Wisconsin–Madison, an MBA from the University of Wisconsin–Oshkosh, and a BBA from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire. She is an active board leader, currently serving on the World Connections Foundation Board and the Tomahawk Lake Association Board of Directors.

Todd Vigil
Chief Marketing OfficerTodd Vigil is renowned for his visionary leadership in nonprofit marketing, skillfully blending innovative strategies with a data-driven approach to achieve remarkable and sustainable results. As the Chief Marketing Officer for The Phoenix Symphony, he led the organization through a transformative digital marketing strategy, setting new records for revenue and audience expansion. With over 15 years in the nonprofit sector, Todd has led marketing efforts at the Heard Museum and Barrow Neurological Foundation, showcasing his diverse influence.
Todd holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Marketing and Management from Arizona State University’s W.P. Carey School of Business, grounding his strategic acumen. His corporate experience at Target Stores and US Airways provided him with a broad range of skills in strategic planning and leadership.
His commitment to the nonprofit sector is further evidenced by his founding roles in Phoenix Suns Charities 88 and Camp Get A Wella, as well as his membership on the board of Valley Youth Theatre. He is also a member of Valley Leadership Class 38 and a 2017 Phoenix Business Journal 40 Under 40 honoree.
Todd is a sought-after speaker at national nonprofit and digital marketing conferences and an instructor at Arizona State University’s Lodestar Nonprofit Management Institute, where he also serves on the ASU Lodestar Leadership Council. Residing in Phoenix, Arizona, Todd enjoys hiking, reading, listening to podcasts, and international travel.

Nicollette Daly, CPA
Chief Financial OfficerNicollette earned her Bachelor and Master of Accounting degrees from the Dhaliwal Reidy School of Accountancy at the University of Arizona. She has certificates in Human Resource Management and Non-Profit Executive Leadership from the ASU Lodestar Center . During her time as a public accountant, one of her focus areas was nonprofit audit and tax preparation. She eventually left public accounting to become the Chief Financial Officer of a nonprofit. She spent the next 13 years as a nonprofit CFO and eventually started her own consulting business. She serves on several non-profit Boards and teaches at her alma matter. She has too many hobbies to list, but traveling with her husband and lounging with their smashed-faced dogs are her favorite things to do!

Julie Penner
Vice President of Operations & AdministrationJulie Pennner provides strategic leadership across organizational operations, administrative functions, stakeholder engagement, and business effectiveness initiatives. With more than two decades of experience leading complex operations and supporting mission-driven organizations, Julie brings a proven ability to align people, processes, and strategy to achieve sustainable growth and organizational excellence.
Throughout her career, Julie has held senior leadership roles with responsibility for advancement, fundraising, constituent relations, event strategy, administration, and organizational development. She has successfully partnered with executive leadership teams, boards of directors, donors, volunteers, and community stakeholders to strengthen organizational capacity, enhance engagement, and advance strategic priorities.
Recognized for her collaborative leadership style, operational expertise, and results-oriented approach, Julie excels at building high-performing teams, fostering meaningful partnerships, and creating systems that drive efficiency, accountability, and long-term success. Her passion for service and commitment to excellence enable organizations to strengthen their impact while positioning them for continued growth and sustainability.
