Nonprofit Resource Partners was founded on a simple belief: nonprofits deserve access to experienced professionals who understand the unique opportunities and challenges of mission-driven organizations. Our team has spent decades leading, supporting, and strengthening nonprofits, bringing practical experience and a collaborative approach to every client we serve.

After more than four decades of leadership in both the corporate and nonprofit sectors, Dave  LaBarre recognized a challenge that was becoming increasingly common across nonprofit organizations of every size.

While serving in executive leadership roles, Dave witnessed dedicated nonprofit boards and executive directors struggling with the same issues: limited budgets, growing operational demands, increasing compliance requirements, fundraising pressures, staff shortages, and difficulty recruiting experienced leadership. Many organizations needed executive-level expertise but simply could not justify the expense of adding another full-time employee.

The challenges became even more evident during and following the COVID-19 pandemic. Nonprofits were being asked to accomplish more than ever before while navigating unprecedented uncertainty with fewer resources. Throughout this period, Dave found himself advising organizations, mentoring nonprofit leaders, solving operational challenges, and helping Boards navigate difficult decisions. The more organizations he assisted, the clearer one reality became, there was a significant gap in the marketplace.

Traditional consulting firms often provided recommendations but left organizations to implement the work themselves. Hiring full-time executives was financially unrealistic for many nonprofits. What organizations truly needed was an experienced partner who could step into the work alongside them, providing practical leadership, strategic guidance, and hands-on support on a flexible basis.

That realization became the foundation for Nonprofit Resource Partners, LLC.

Founded in 2023, NRP was built around a simple but powerful philosophy: providing nonprofit organizations with access to experienced executive talent and specialized expertise without requiring them to expand their permanent staff.

Today, NRP offers a comprehensive portfolio of fractional leadership, operational support, fundraising strategy, governance consulting, administrative assistance, executive coaching, and specialized nonprofit solutions. Rather than offering one-size-fits-all consulting, NRP partners with organizations to become an extension of their team, delivering customized services that strengthen capacity, improve efficiency, and position nonprofits for long-term success.
