Our Values
Our History
In the transformative year of 2018, Heather Pace and David LaBarre crossed paths and discovered a shared passion that would pave the way for an innovative journey in the nonprofit sector. United by a common desire to make a significant impact, Heather and Dave, both seasoned Executive Directors within their respective nonprofit organizations, found themselves drawn together by a shared vision for positive change.
The seeds of collaboration were planted as their professional paths converged, and a robust partnership began to blossom. It was during the unprecedented challenges brought about by the Covid pandemic that Heather and Dave harnessed their collective expertise, leveraging a wealth of shared knowledge. This collaboration not only strengthened their professional alliance but also yielded tangible benefits for the communities and constituents they passionately served.
Fueled by a commitment to excellence and a deep understanding of the intricacies of nonprofit management, Heather and Dave saw an opportunity to amplify their impact. In response to the evolving needs of the nonprofit industry, they laid the foundation for Nonprofit Resource Partners, LLC. This dynamic venture was conceived not only as a testament to their dedication but also as a solution-oriented platform designed to empower nonprofit organizations on their journeys to sustainable success.
As Nonprofit Resource Partners, LLC continued to gain momentum, Heather and Dave brought with them a wealth of experience spanning collectively over forty years, a shared ethos of making a positive difference, and a commitment to providing unparalleled support to nonprofit organizations. The story of this company is not just a narrative of professional collaboration but a testament to the resilience, innovation, and shared values that drive Nonprofit Resource Partners, LLC, toward a future where nonprofits thrive, communities flourish, and positive change is the common denominator.
In mid-2024, Nonprofit Resource Partners, LLC entered a seamless and progressive phase of growth and transformation. Following the departure of Heather Pace, CEO David J. LaBarre, M.A., M.S., announced a strategic leadership transition, appointing Alan Salter as President, Kimberly Brennan, M.A., as Chief Operating Officer, and Catherine Lector as Chief Financial Officer. These accomplished leaders bring extensive expertise and a unified vision to drive innovation, expand market presence, and enhance organizational resilience. This transition honors the foundational contributions of both Dave and Heather, whose leadership laid the groundwork for the company’s success. With its revitalized leadership team, Nonprofit Resource Partners, LLC is well-positioned to embrace new opportunities and confidently navigate the future.
